Located in a remote corner of Patagonia surrounded by the awe-inspiring Andes mountains, Rio Palena Lodge is the ultimate ski retreat. This newly-remodeled property features an array of heli-skiing, angling, and adventure offerings to ensure you experience the best of Patagonia.
The alpine ski terrain surrounding Rio Palena Lodge offers an exciting assortment of open bowls, steep couloirs, and mellow glacier runs. With this wide array of terrain options, your Eleven Skiing guides and Experience Manager can dial in the perfect itinerary to suit your group.
Rio Palena Lodge’s location allows for easy access to waterfall hikes, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, stand up paddleboarding, and world-class fly fishing during appropriate seasons. If you are looking for a bit of downtime, our fully renovated lodge offers the ultimate in comfortable accommodations and is fully equipped with two wood-fired hot tubs and a wood-fired sauna.
Located in a largely uninhabited region of Chilean Patagonia, Rio Palena Lodge is an intimate property with only seven guest rooms. Guests traveling to Rio Palena Lodge have the option to fly private to Palena Airfield or to Chaiten where commercial flights are also available.
