Each of our lodges offers you incredible access to place-based water sports, which we will customize to you and your group. Kayaking
Paddle pristine waters with Eleven’s expert guides, whether you’re navigating remote fjords in Iceland, cruising past waterfalls in Patagonia, or tracing the shores of Lake Wanaka in New Zealand. Our kayaking experiences include a mix of sea kayaking in hard-shell boats and inflatable kayaking on swift-moving rivers—so you can choose the style and pace that fits your adventure. Whether it’s a relaxed paddle on a high-alpine lake or an adrenaline-fueled river run, you’ll get up close with the natural world. Available in Iceland, France, Chile, and New Zealand.
Rafting
Take on the world-class rapids of Chile’s Futaleufú River, or raft right the Taylor River in Colorado. With expert guides, top-of-the-line gear, and breathtaking backdrops, our rafting adventures bring you adrenaline-filled experiences around the world. Available in Colorado, Iceland, France, Chile, New Zealand, and British Columbia.
Stand-Up Paddleboarding
From the glacier-fed lakes of Patagonia and New Zealand to Colorado’s alpine reservoirs, Eleven’s stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experiences offer both serenity and adventure. With a variety of heli-accessed paddling destinations and expert guides to show you the way, SUPing offers a unique way to explore some of the world’s wildest landscapes. Available in Colorado, Iceland, Chile, New Zealand, and British Columbia.
Canyoning
Slide, jump, and swim through remote rainforest canyons with Eleven’s expert guides. Navigate natural rock chutes, deep pools, and waterfalls—plus combine abseiling, jet boats, or even a heli drop in select locations. Outfitted with a wetsuit and top gear, you’ll explore wild canyon landscapes one exhilarating descent at a time. Available in France, New Zealand and Iceland.
Wake Boat Water Sports
Join us in The Bahamas and enjoy a day trip on our 24-foot wake boat, specially designed for wakeboarding, wake surfing, and tubing. This five-hour, in-harbor adventure is ideal for six to eight guests of all experience levels and includes expert guidance and top-notch equipment. Available in The Bahamas.
Surfing
There’s no such thing as “too cold” at Eleven Deplar Farm. With our super thick wetsuits, you’ll ride Iceland's best right-handers and occasional left breaks. Keep an eye out for local pro Heiðar Logi, master of these North Atlantic waters. If you’re lucky, he’ll offer some pointers. Available in Iceland.

Chris Bradley
Chris Bradley is Eleven’s Guide Operations Manager at Deplar Farm. Originally from England, he now lives in Siglufjörður, Iceland. An avid bikepacker and mountaineer, he leads Eleven’s busiest guide team, delivering world-class adventures.
Dave Bumgarner
Dave Bumgarner is an AMGA-certified guide with over 20 years of experience leading ski, climbing, and river adventures across Colorado and around the globe.
Josh Stupka
Josh Stupka is a river and mountain guide for Eleven, blending nearly two decades of experience with a passion for connecting people to wild places through water, trails, and shared stories.
Billy Rankin
Billy Rankin is a veteran ski and mountain guide for Eleven with 30 years of experience. Based in Crested Butte, he’s passionate about deep powder, good people, and unforgettable days outside.
Ben Ammon
Ben Ammon is an IFMGA-certified guide for Eleven. Based in Crested Butte, he thrives on sharing once-in-a-lifetime experiences with guests across North America’s wildest mountains.
Mark Hirst
A global whitewater guide since 1994, Mark brings decades of rescue and expedition experience to Deplar Farm. Now based in northern Iceland, he loves sharing raw landscapes and real adventure with guests.
SJ Wood
Sarah Jane “SJ” Wood is a Glacier, Mountaineering, and River Guide at Eleven’s Rio Palena Lodge. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she now spends most of her time in Chile, where she helps guests experience the region’s wild rivers, temperate rainforests, and towering peaks.
William Desaulniers
Will Desaulniers is a ski and adventure guide based in Iceland. A Quebec native, he combines guiding with a background in filmmaking and van building.

Thomas “Tom” Hoyland is a guide at Deplar Farm with over 12 years of experience in mountain, water, and rope-based guiding.
Enric Llorens
Enric Alacambra Llorens is a Lead Guide at Deplar Farm. Originally from Barcelona, he’s passionate about taking guests beyond their comfort zones through outdoor challenges.
Jeff Horvat
Jeff Horvat has spent more than half his life guiding rafting, mountain biking, and hiking adventures across Colorado. He loves sharing the outdoors with guests and creating unforgettable days.
Nico Busel
Nicolás “Nico” Busel Niedmann is a Mountain and River Guide for Eleven in Chile. Originally from Santiago and now based in Pucón, he brings a lifelong passion for skiing, kayaking, and adventure to every guest experience.
Nick Jenkins
Nick Jenkins is the Guide Operations Manager at Rio Palena Lodge. Originally from Wyoming and now based in Alaska, he brings years of adventure leadership and a passion for building strong teams in wild places.
Laila Marie Hausberg
Laila Hausberg guides guests at Deplar Farm, sharing her deep passion for Iceland’s nature, culture, and horses. Originally from Hamburg, she now calls Iceland home.
