Does the Kingfisher Heli experience include accommodations?

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is our homebase in British Columbia. The historic and comfortable accommodations are located in downtown Revelstoke, launching you right into the backcountry to ski, while also delivering immediate proximity to the quintessential mountain town scene. Well-appointed suites, an outdoor hot tub and sauna, and an acclaimed restaurant and bar round out your heli-skiing experience so that your sleep is as deep as the powder!

How many days is this heli skiing adventure?

When you book your British Columbia heli skiing adventure you can decide how many days you’d like to experience, as we custom make our heli skiing trips at Kingfisher for either private or semi-private groups. Although we have a minimum length of stay of three nights, we are happy to create a ski-trip that is perfect for your group.

Do we need travel insurance?

Although we do not require travel insurance, we highly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance. We have a strict cancellation policy to ensure all guests have the opportunity to experience our adventures when they’re able to. Our Eleven sales team is happy to work with you to arrange trip cancellation insurance prior to your trip. Simply ask your sales representative for more information.

Will I have to sign a Waiver before participating in heliskiing?

Yes. HeliCat Canada is the trade association of the Canadian helicopter and snowcat skiing industry. Kingfisher Heliskiing’s Wilderness Activities Waiver was created by HeliCat Canada and we ask that you please read it prior to booking with us. We will send you this waiver at your time of booking to sign before paying your deposit. You will also be asked to acknowledge and sign the waiver prior to boarding the helicopter on the first day of your trip. Kingfisher Heliskiing proudly follows HeliCat Canada’s Safety and Risk Awareness protocols which can be viewed on their website along with more information about industry best practices in the areas of sustainability and safety.
