As a fully accredited member of HeliCat Canada, we are proud to adhere to the most rigorous safety standards in the heli-skiing industry. Our program undergoes formal auditing by HeliCat Canada to ensure operations meet or exceed the accreditation framework for guide qualifications, emergency planning, avalanche risk management, annual training, and aviation safety.
We operate under a Land Act Tenure, License of Occupation for Crown Land in British Columbia, which mandates a detailed Tenure Management Plan and annually updated Avalanche Safety and Risk Management plans. Our daily safety operations include continuous monitoring of avalanche and weather conditions, daily guide meetings, terrain selection based on current risk assessments, the use of avalanche safety equipment provided to all guests, and emergency response protocols supported by trained staff and reliable communication tools.
Our professional and experienced lead guides are certified by the ACMG, CSGA, or IFMGA accredited foreign guiding associations and all guests receive a mandatory safety briefing and beacon training before skiing.
