Located in the secluded hamlet of Fontmell Parva, the idyllic Keepers Cottage in Dorset, England stands in an enviable rural location with far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The private location of Keepers Cottage ensures complete isolation with no other structures visible from the property.
Built in 1871 of stone under a clay tiled roof with ornate finials, eaves, and tall chimneys, it formed part of the Fontmell Parva Estate. Renovated in 2019, the main house is made up of a kitchen, three reception rooms, including a large living area with a stone open fireplace and a light airy conservatory, and three double bedrooms, and two and a half baths.
The original, detached barn has been redesigned to a two-bedroom annex with a shower room, making it a perfect space for teenagers or a grandparent that may desire additional privacy during your stay. Additionally, there is a good-sized garden with a fire pit area and an outdoor dining terrace with a gas barbeque.
The bridleway in front of the cottage provides immediate access to the adjoining, unspoilt countryside, ready to explore on foot or by bike. Lightly wooded and to the east is the Cranborne Chase stretching towards Salisbury, and the Blackmore Vale lies to the west. Keepers Cottage is available as a short term rental that is an idyllic countryside cottage perfect for any occasion.

Keepers Cottage in Dorset England is available as a rental home at a minimum of two nights per reservation. Your reservation must be made no less than three days in advance.
This rental does not include guided adventures, wellness, culinary, or other activities. If you are interested in attaching additional services to your rental agreement we are happy to discuss this more with you and amend your reservation. Contact us for more information.

This quaint English cottage sleeps ten guests comfortably with two super king beds and three king beds dispersed throughout its five bedrooms. All of the bedrooms were designed to resemble life in the 1800s with a modern twist as this home was renovated with top-of-the-line equipment and furniture in 2019.
