Frequently Asked Questions

What facilities are available for meetings and presentations?

We have a variety of spaces throughout our lodge that can facilitate larger group discussions, including the Copper John (our game cabin) and The Lodge (our main cabin with dining hall and bar).  We also have the ability to project on our large screen TVs. What are our digital and AV capabilities, and do we have standby staff for assistance?

In addition to our set big screen televisions, we also have TVs on rolling carts and projectors that can be used in alternate locations. All TVs have Apple TV, allowing for wireless presentation set ups for meetings, presentations, or slideshows from a laptop or phone. For audio, you can utilize our Crestron system to create playlists for use with presentations. Our staff are happy to  help assist with any issues you might need for set-up.

Is Wi-Fi available throughout the lodge?

Taylor River Lodge is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Can you pick us up from the airport, and what is the closest airport?

We can help coordinate transportation to or from airports. We recommend flying into the Gunnison/Crested Butte Regional Airport, just a short drive away. Let us know when booking your stay that transportation is a service that you would like to add on for an additional cost.

Are there options for private rooms or shared accommodations?

Taylor River Lodge is a collection of six private cabins and two multi-room cabins containing three private sleeping spaces each. You can choose to break out your group amongst the available cabins as works for your purpose.

Are dining options private to our group?

Yes, all dining options are private for your group and included in your stay. This includes chef-prepared breakfast, lunch, après, and dinner and your choice of menu items. Meals are served on-site, so you never have to leave, including lunches served in-field for mid-day adventure breaks.

What types of activities are available for team building?

In Colorado, our lodges are ideally located for outdoor mountain adventures like summertime whitewater rafting, mountain biking, mountaineering, and hiking, or wintertime backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and ice climbing. We can also work with you to arrange other activities for your group.
