ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Eleven®’s flagship property, Scarp Ridge Lodge, delivers a rare combination of an authentic mountain town setting alongside some of the world’s most exclusive skiing.
Located in the heart of Crested Butte, dubbed Colorado’s last great ski town for its historic charm and soulful spirit, Scarp Ridge Lodge feels like a European ski chalet with Rocky Mountain style. The former Croatian saloon still has its Wild West facade, but the interiors have been transformed with reclaimed iron from the old mills in town and generous amenities, like an indoor saltwater pool and oxygen-enriched air system.
Each morning a custom-designed snowcat will be waiting at the front door to whisk guests to 1,000+ acres of exclusive ski terrain in nearby Irwin. The area receives an average of 450 inches of snow per year and its cold-smoke powder is legendary. Our guides know where to find the deepest powder runs and wide open alpine bowls. Two on-mountain cabins, outfitted with fireplaces, dining areas and seating spaces provide guests with a comfy place to warm up, recharge, and kick off après. Back at the lodge, a steamy rooftop hot tub is the perfect setting to relive the day’s highlights.

Cat Skiing in Irwin, Colorado
Our exclusive cat skiing tenure at Irwin is Colorado’s best kept secret: 450 annual inches of light, dry powder. Check out what happens when Abe Kislevitz, GoPro’s creative director, and freeride all-stars Marion Hærty, Cody Cirillo, and Kellyn Wilson get loose on the untouched snow, playful terrain, and steeps of this pristine, thousand-acre stash. This winter, join us for powder days, snowcat laps, guides who tee up untracked descents again and again, and our decked out, wood-heated mountain outposts for après celebration.
CAT SKIING AT IRWIN
Each morning, tricked-out snowcats transport our guests to 1000+ acres of ski terrain in nearby Irwin, Colorado. Coupled with private use of our on-mountain chalets, guests have the opportunity to ski untouched cold-smoke powder and enjoy the company of their families and friends.

SLEEP
Each of the six guest rooms is slightly different, with a mix of elegant and rustic touches, including earth-toned furnishings, jute rugs, and exposed wood beams. The seven-bed bunkroom, modeled after the board game Chutes and Ladders, is every kid’s dream. If you’re visiting from sea level, an oxygen-enriched air system can be activated by the flip of a switch to help fight the effect of high altitude, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Hang Space
Scarp Ridge Lodge invites guests to kick back and relax as if they were at home. Guests have access to the open kitchen and its stocked fridge 24-7. The media room has a projector screen for TV, movies, and slideshows from the day’s adventures. A five-stool bar, manned by a bartender and decorated with historical photos of the area, allows guests to enjoy après at home. Prep for a big ski day with a steam or sauna, laps in the saltwater pool, or a stretch session in the gym. Post-ski, sip craft Colorado brews while soothing muscles in the rooftop hot tub.
EAT & DRINK
Wake to the smell of brewing coffee and sizzling bacon. A chef-prepared breakfast will fuel you through a morning on the slopes. Warm up with a lunch of chicken and sausage gumbo at either of our on-mountain cabins at Irwin. For dinner, guests can opt to have our chef prepare a dinner showcasing ingredients from our favorite Colorado purveyors for an additional cost, or head out and experience some of Crested Butte’s restaurants, including a classic steakhouse, funky pizzeria, and more.
