Due to our unique product and strict cancellation policies, we strongly recommend purchasing 'Cancel For Any Reason' (CFAR) travel insurance to protect your investment. As an incentive for you to purchase CFAR insurance coverage, Eleven is offering you a 1% credit based on the total cost of your stay with Eleven. Your credit may be used during your stay for wellness services, additional activities, transportation, and non-included beverages. Our check-in time at Cedar Lodge is 3:00 pm, and checkout time is at 10:00 am. Please be aware that early and late checkouts are subject to availability and can only be confirmed 24 hours prior to your arrival.
Each guest will be required to hold a non-resident full season license. Our Lodge Manager can arrange this for you when you arrive at the lodge, or you can purchase it prior to your arrival at www.fishandgame.org.nz. You will be fishing the Otago area while with us. This license will allow you to fish anywhere in New Zealand except for the Taupo Region. This license will then be used to purchase daily designated waters licenses, which are required to fish some of the fisheries we access from the lodge. Once each day’s itinerary is confirmed, the lodge team will handle the purchase of these licenses, which cost $40 per person per day. You will be charged any fees incurred at the end of your stay.
Gratuities for Eleven staff and guides are entirely discretionary and not expected. Should you wish to leave gratuity, it can be added to your final bill, which can be paid by either credit card or cash. We recommend $150 – $200 USD per guest per night to cover the entire team. This amount will be distributed among all staff who contributed to your stay.
Eleven Experience acts solely as a facilitator and does not operate or control the helicopter services. The client agrees that all services are provided by a third-party operator, and any claims must be directed to the service provider.
For guests traveling from the USA, please note that you will cross the International Date Line during your flight. Make sure to plan accordingly to account for the time difference.
From Auckland, guests will take a domestic flight into Queenstown. Upon arrival in Queenstown, you have several options for reaching your final destination. You can reserve a vehicle through Eleven, choose to self-drive, or opt for a shuttle service.
