About the Experience
Hut and Chalet Access
Set in the mountainside village of Le Miroir, our chalets are prime launchpads into touring terrain. Ski right from the doorstep or gain access through nearby resort lifts and use our alpine outposts as rest stops along the way.
Lift-Served Resort Routes
With seven world-class resorts within a 30-minute drive, we can take advantage of lift-served sidecountry routes like the gentle forests of Sainte Foy, exciting glacier runs in Tignes, and Col des Fours in Val d’Isère.
Heli-Accessed Terrain
With a variety of helipads in the area and a fully guided heli-ski operation just across the border in Italy, we offer ski touring routes that integrate heli-drops to expand your skiing scope even further.

Fuel up with a chef-made meal at the chalet before heading to the Sainte Foy Resort about 15 minutes away
Advanced Ski Touring Route
Take the resort lifts to access a variety of advanced touring routes with untouched terrain. Stop for lunch at a rustic mountain hut surrounded by alpine views.
Dinner at the Outpost
Return to the chalet for après-ski cocktails and snacks, then ski tour to Eleven’s nearby outpost The Alpage for a traditional French dinner around the fire

Jean-Noël Gaidet is a IFMGA mountain guide based in Sainte Foy, France. With 24 years of guiding experience, he leads skiing, heliskiing, and alpine adventures across Europe and Iceland.
Jean-Charles Vial
Jean-Charles Vial is a Ski Instructor based in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, France. Passionate about skiing since childhood, he’s excited to share his love of the mountains and create unforgettable ski experiences for guests.

More Guided Winter Adventures in France
Heli-Skiing
Because Italy is right next door, heli-skiing from the chalet is a must. We’re located near three different heli-ski bases which access more than 40 descents. Our guides are local experts, and the runs average 1,000 meters. This activity is an additional fee.
Off-Piste Skiing
Head to the nearby resorts and hop on a ski lift to access backcountry routes like the forests of Sainte Foy, glacier runs in Tignes, and The Lost Valley in Val d’Isère. Our guides will take you to the right spots based on your skill level. This activity is included in your stay.
On-Piste Skiing
The chalets offer quick access to seven of the globe’s best ski resorts, including Val d’Isère, Tignes, and Les Arcs. From beginner to expert-only runs, the terrain is extensive and the après scene is the best there is. The longest run in Europe—7 kilometers—faces the chalets’ balconies. This activity is included in your stay.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoe into the wilderness directly from the chalet, or head out from one of the local ski resorts where you can utilize the ski lift to quickly gain elevation. Options are plentiful, including easy 30-minute walks, full-day hikes, and challenging 1,200-meter climbs. This activity is included in your stay.
Tarentaise Vallée Blanche Tour
Take on the ultimate ski safari. From the Tarentaise Valley, head toward Italy to ski 15 kilometers from the top of the Pointe Helbronner cable car, across the glacier of the legendary “Vallée Blanche,” and all the way to Chamonix. After skiing in the heart of Mont Blanc massif, end the day with a heli-flight above the Mont Blanc summit and finally land back at the chalet. This activity is an additional fee.
Biathlon Competition
Fun and open to all, the biathlon challenges friends and family to an Olympic-style competition of cross-country ski racing and target shooting. Snowshoes are available as an alternative to skis. This activity is an additional fee.

Eleven Deplar Farm
Named on Condé Nast's "Best Hotels in the World" list in 2023, Deplar Farm is a converted 15th-century sheep farm in northern Iceland. With 13 guest rooms and an expansive spa, the lodge also offers guided heli-skiing, sea kayaking, and fly fishing.

Set deep in the Alaska Range, this rustic collection of lakeside cabins offers one million acres of guided adventures like glacier hiking, rafting, dog mushing, heli-skiing, and fly fishing. Accessed by float plane, Winterlake Lodge has six cabins.
