Eleven to Offer Guests a VIP Bucket List Experience Including a Stay at Eleven Scarp Ridge Lodge with the Natural Selection DUELS Athletes and Front Row Competition Viewing

February 6-11, 2024

Crested Butte, CO – December 20, 2023 – Eleven®, the leading collection of global adventure lodges, is thrilled to announce that their exclusive terrain on Scarp Ridge in Irwin, Colorado, has been selected by the Natural Selection Tour, the world’s premier all-mountain snowboarding competition founded by pro-snowboarder Travis Rice, to host a YETI Natural Selection DUEL.

With over 1,000 acres of alpine bowls, tree skiing, and steep chutes, Eleven’s terrain at Irwin is the perfect addition to Natural Selection’s hand-picked collection of snowboarding battlegrounds. DUELS are designed to bring out riders’ creativity, skill and fortitude, which will be showcased through Eleven and Irwin Guides’ cat-accessed terrain, a place that averages in 429 inches of annual snowfall and is legendary for its deep powder.

The Natural Selection DUEL at Irwin will feature a head-to-head competition between two of the world’s top snowboarders, Red Gerard and Austen Sweetin, who will be staying at Eleven Scarp Ridge Lodge. Jamie Anderson and Emma Crosby, who will be competing at the neighboring DUEL competition at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, will also be staying at the lodge that week.

To celebrate this prestigious snowboarding event, Eleven is offering one lucky group the chance to join these four DUELS athletes for a stay at Eleven Scarp Ridge Lodge from February 6-11, 2024. This VIP experience includes front-row viewing at Irwin on the day of competition, and the chance to dine, hang, and cat ski with these pro riders, enjoying access to Eleven’s on-mountain outposts for chef-prepared lunches and fireside warm-ups. By night, guests will join the riders for après and a concert at Eleven’s downtown music venue, Public House.

Set in the heart of downtown Crested Butte, Scarp Ridge Lodge offers easy access to the mountains while also providing a host of comforts, from the indoor saltwater pool and rooftop hot tub, to comfy lounge spaces, a media room, and a full bar. Formerly the historic Croatian Hall, a saloon where miners would gather after a hard day’s work, Scarp Ridge Lodge is offering luxurious accommodations for up to 10 people from February 6-11, from $17,100 per night.

YETI Natural Selection DUELS will drop late February exclusively on Red Bull TV, with the winners announced within the shows. The winner of the Natural Selection DUEL at Irwin will join 18 returning and invited Natural Selection Tour riders for two, unique live event days in the March 10-17 competition window at the YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke and YETI Natural Selection Selkirk Tangiers.
