Deplar Farm Heli Deposit and Cancellation Policies

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total booking is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date, including taxes.
  • Cancellations made outside of 30 days of arrival date: 100% of amounts paid are non-refundable but the amount paid may be applied towards a new booking for a stay with an arrival date within 365 days of the arrival date stated in the cancelled booking.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date: 100% of amounts paid are non-refundable and cannot be applied towards new bookings, but subject to the Government Restriction Exception below.
  • Government Restriction Exception: If a cancellation is made within 30 days of arrival date because an in-effect government law or order prohibits travel to the booked destination at the time of cancellation, then 100% of the amounts paid for the original booking may be applied to a new booking with an arrival date within 365 days of the arrival date stated in the cancelled booking.
  • All re-bookings are subject to availability and potential rate increases. The time periods set forth above for applying previously paid amounts and re-booking will not be extended and any unused amounts are non-refundable. If more than one cancellation option applies, the guest may choose one of the available options. All re-bookings are final.
  • Heli Hour Refund Policy: 1.5 hours included, 1 hour guaranteed per day. If you do not reach your included flight time at the end of your stay due to operational factors such as an inability to fly due to poor weather or mechanical breakdown, a credit of 65,043 ISK/~$500 USD per seat/per hour will be issued. The credit is calculated based on the difference between the included flight time, and the hours/minutes that you actually flew during your trip. Deplar Farm will not issue credits if you do not reach your flight time due to injury, illness, accidents, ski ability or personal choice (meaning you do not reach the hours because you choose to stay at or return to the Lodge and not ski). Should you be eligible, your credit may be applied towards a new booking for a stay at any Eleven property with an arrival date within 365 days of the departure date from Deplar Farm.

IF ELEVEN’S CANCELLATION POLICIES ARE NOT AGREEABLE BY YOU WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE A ”CANCEL FOR ANY REASON” (CFAR) TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY* WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT BY PART OR IN WHOLE INSTEAD OF WORKING WITH OUR CANCELLATION POLICIES. IT IS EITHER ELEVEN’S CANCELLATION POLICY OR CFAR INSURANCE, YOU CANNOT USE BOTH.
