Colorado Property Reopenings: Taylor River Lodge, Scarp Ridge Lodge, and Sopris House
Hello! Molly Minett, here. As Eleven’s Colorado General Manager, I am excited to share that we will be reopening our doors at Scarp Ridge Lodge, Sopris House, and Taylor River Lodge in June. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and crisp, Colorado air, our lodges are ideally suited for private, full property buyouts and serve as the ultimate off-the-grid destinations in which to reconnect with loved ones and immerse yourself in nature.
We have temporarily closed our lodges in Colorado over the past couple of months as a safety precaution in response to COVID-19. During this time, our entire team has worked diligently to entirely reimagine the Eleven Experience and prepare for the new normal. Our primary goal is to continue to maintain a high level of health and safety for our guests and our team members while we deliver exceptional travel experiences. In preparation for reopening, our global operations teams have refined and enhanced protocols to ensure that guests feel safe and at home in our properties throughout the world.
While our properties have been closed, we have put ourselves in your shoes, as guests, and have analyzed every aspect of your stay, from arrival to departure. As experts in the hospitality industry, we have worked together to anticipate areas that require modifications for the new world we are living in, while still maintaining the core values that Eleven has always held. We will continue to strive to create the “best day ever” for all of our guests and understand this might look different for each person.
We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our lodges, but have a new emphasis on the disinfecting process throughout the properties. During our closures, all properties were deep cleaned and disinfected, and we have increased the frequency of cleanings in high-touch areas moving forward. We reevaluated through a lens of heightened safety our setups, offerings, and stocking procedures in every space. As a company, we are adhering to CDC and WHO recommendations as well as local regulations. We are closely following industry best practices while continuing to innovate as leaders in experiential travel. Throughout our properties, items such as hand sanitizer and masks will be readily available. Procedures have also been put in place to monitor employee wellness in order to keep everyone safe and healthy.
We understand that minimizing contact with other guests and employees is something that is important to a lot of people. At Eleven, we are happy to personalize our service to suit your comfort level. As our guest, you will have the option to choose how you would like to communicate with our team (via text, phone call, or in-person) as well as the ability to choose the level of in-room housekeeping services that you would like. Our teams will be scaled down, but the authentic relationships that you form and the experiences that you have will remain the same. For additional information on steps we have taken to protect the health and well-being of our guests and employees, please visit our COVID-19 webpage.
We feel incredibly lucky that our unique properties and locations already lend themselves to calm, secluded vacations. We will continue to provide peace-of-mind due to our intimate size and remote locations, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Colorado!
