The Lodge
About the property
Chalet Hibou is located in Le Miroir, a secluded French hamlet surrounded by Europe’s most iconic skiing. Because of our unique locale, expert guide team, and full-scale personalization, you can ski seven world-class resorts, heli-ski Italy, and ski tour or snowshoe all in one stay. Our ski guides are your local insiders—they’ll take you to the best secret stashes and tastiest lunch spots. This is the ultimate do-it-all winter experience in the Alps.
Fully private to your group, the seven-bedroom lodge includes a sauna and indoor steam room, as well as an outdoor hot tub overlooking the Mont Pourri glacier. Savoyard-styled spaces, vintage French textiles, and cozy sheepskin throws invite you to kick back around a crackling fire and enjoy the spirit of centuries-old alpine traditions.
Our chefs serve local classics like Côte de Boeuf and Gâteau de Savoie, handcrafting each dish to your liking along with local wines and hand-foraged Génépi. A hidden gem in Europe, Chalet Pelerin gives you a rare opportunity to ski the Alps’ most sought-after terrain with local experts, then soak in France’s après-loving lifestyle and stunning mountain scenery from your own home away from home.

SLEEP
Nestled in the mountains of the Tarentaise Valley, Chalet Hibou perches on top of the tiny French farming village of Le Miroir. With rustic-chic interiors inspired by the property’s alpine surroundings, Chalet Hibou provides unmatched amenities infused with a classic French twist. Wake up rested and refreshed each morning to the crisp mountain air and cowbells signaling the start of the day.
HANG SPACE
Chalet Hibou’s quintessential, mountain-inspired interiors create the perfect atmosphere in which to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring in the Alps. Enjoy a glass of fine French wine next to the living room’s log fireplace or rest your muscles in our outdoor hot tub with après and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
EAT
Great food is engrained in French culture so it should be no surprise that meals are a highlight at Chalet Hibou. A local dairy farmer delivers yogurt to the chalet door each morning to accompany a hearty breakfast spread of muesli, house-made bread, and made-to-order eggs. Fine French cheeses and garden-fresh salads are served for lunch, even in the backcountry. At night, chef Natanael’s menus showcase Savoyarde dishes like pumpkin velouté with the region’s famed Beaufort cheese, Côte de Bouef, and of course, Raclette and fondue. French wines also take center stage, with nightly menu pairings.
OUTPOSTS
In the winter, snowshoe, walk, or ski to the Alpage, for a special dining experience. Originally a sheep herder’s hut, this intimate stone hut has been renovated with modern amenities and alpine style. Soak up centuries-old alpine traditions while you spend time with your loved ones in a cozy atmosphere complete with fireside fondue, fine wine, and a candlelit dinner.
