Once the snow started coming down in January – it was light, fluffy, and great for skiing. After a 4 day storm the sun came out and temperatures dropped into the negatives at surrounding resorts. With a northeast wind from Italy, there was quite a bit of snow transfer, but the cold temperatures were keeping conditions fresh. After 15 gusty days, the wind settled and a new storm arrived. We had three days of snow and are now enjoying blue bird conditions while we await the next storm which is expected to hit at the end of the month.
